A new taco restaurant in Downtown Memphis? ‘Pretty’ please!
A new fast casual taco restaurant headed to Downtown has come together quickly. And it comes from a Memphian who is no stranger to the area’s fine dining scene.
Halsey Werlein’s last role was as the general manager of Itta Bena; before that, he worked at Pontotoc Lounge, Silly Goose, Flight Restaurant and Southern Social.
But Werlein is ready to step away from upscale eateries with a fast casual concept called Pretty Taco. The restaurant will be located at 265 S. Front St., which was most recently the Paramount restaurant space.
