Los Comales owner, Drapac receive grants for Downtown projects
Memphis Business Journal. September 17, 2020. On Wednesday, a Downtown Memphis Commission (DMC) board approved grants for a pair of renovations across the street from each other.
The first was for the $173,000 conversion of the vacant 113 Madison Ave. Gustavo Bermudez — the owner of the popular local Los Comales restaurants — is planning to open a Mexican restaurant there, as the MBJ reported in April 2019.
