South Main retailer to expand
Feelin’ Memphis is expanding.
The Center City Development Corp. on Wednesday, Feb. 15, approved a $20,000 special request grant for a 1,100-square-foot expansion at 509 S. Main St. in the Historic South Main Arts District Downtown.
Owner Tawanda Pirtle plans to expand the store into the adjacent storefront at 511 S. Main St. During the holiday 2022 season, Pirtle used the site as a holiday pop-up. The new store will include women’s and children’s apparel.
