Terminix officially names new name and ticker symbol, CEO Ponton takes over

The company announced the official change Sept. 15; the company's NYSE ticker symbol will change from SERV to TMX once the sale closes, expected within the next 30 days. ServiceMaster sold its Brands segment to Atlanta-based private equity firm Roark Capital Management LLC for $1.553 billion in a deal announced Sept. 2.
