Memphis dish named one of best ‘Over-the-Top Treats’

A Memphis dish has been named the best Over-the-Top Treat in the state.

Tamra Patterson’s peach cobbler nachos were named to the Food Network Magazine list, representing Tennessee. The outlet picked a different “over-the-top” treat for each state.

Mariah Schlossmann, author of the list, described the dessert:

“This iconic treat was created for folks who like the peach cobbler crust who would ask for extra crust, leaving Chef Tam with a pan full of peaches. She used cinnamon chips and her peach filling. She says her secret weapon is using pumpkin pie spice in lieu of the cinnamon.”
