Midtown bakery to open second location with expanded capabilities
A couple of weeks ago, the Midtown bakery The Ginger's Bread hosted a baking camp.
"We're feeling it out to see what the response is, to see if we need to adjust our curriculum," said The Ginger's Bread owner Jimmy Hoxie. "We had a good response. We had seven students sign up, and I think that was a good number for the space that we're in right now. With the space that we're going to have, we'll be able to accommodate probably up to about 20 students."
"The space that we're going to have" that Hoxie is referring to is a second bakery set to open at 64 S. Main St., near Union Avenue.
