Three New Businesses Join Downtown Through DMC’s Open on Main Program

The Downtown Memphis Commission proudly welcomes the newest businesses participating in the Open on Main program. The DMC’s OPEN ON MAIN Initiative pairs emerging retailers and entrepreneurs with vacant storefronts in Downtown. The program is designed to help retailers test their market-strategies and to create a stronger retail ecosystem and better pedestrian experience in our core city. The spaces available will provide rent-free opportunities for tenants to temporarily showcase their businesses on Main Street.


Champion's Herbs officially opened its doors at 65 Monroe Ave Suite B. Established in 1981, this family-owned business has been a trusted name in the Memphis community for decades, known for its holistic approach to health and wellness. With a focus on herbal remedies, personalized care, and a legacy of healing passed down through generations, Champion's Herbs continues to honor the vision of its founder, Dr. Charles A. Champion. The store offers a range of products, including herbal supplements, natural remedies, custom-made kits for common ailments, and more.


Ionia's Closet opened at 65 Monroe Ave Suite A, bringing beautiful, quality, and affordable fashion to Downtown Memphis. Ionia's Closet aims to make every woman feel confident and stylish with its everyday clothing options. The business, which started in 2018 through pop-up events in Harbor Town, has grown significantly and is now excited to serve the Downtown core community.


Crown Towera luxury clothing boutique opened at 10 S. Main Street, Suite 100. Crown Tower will offer an array of clothing and accessories from a variety of local businesses all under one roof with a curated selection of women's clothing, men's clothing, stylish fedoras, accessories, and exclusive finds.
