Details
“Freedom Now” was the call of a generation that marched, organized, and sacrificed so every American could vote. That fight for voting rights is still ours today. On Election Day, the National Civil Rights Museum in partnership with Votes for All/Memphis for All, MICAH (Memphis Interfaith Coalition for Action and Hope), the Shelby County Voter Alliance, and Stand for Children-Tennessee is hosting a free help center for voters on Tuesday, November 3, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. No appointment needed. Trained volunteers are on hand, no appointment needed, to:
• Direct you to your polling place
• Answer questions about voting access in your precinct
• Connect you with election authorities when you need answers or action
• Support anyone who has trouble voting at the polls
Heading to the polls? Polls in Shelby County close at 7:00 p.m. Central, and you may vote if you’re in line by closing time. Bring a state- or federal-issued photo ID. School and local government IDs are not accepted. While you’re here, stop by our photo and video wall and tell us why you vote.
