The Memphis Grizzlies will host their annual Open Practice, presented by TN Lottery, on Saturday, Oct. 4, at 1 p.m. at FedExForum. A Plaza Party on the Big River Steel Plaza tips-off the fun at 11 a.m., with doors opening to fans at noon.

The full-team practice will give fans a first look at the 2025-26 squad including Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. plus newcomers Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Ty Jerome, Cedric Coward and more. The event will include entertainment from Grizz, the Grizz Girls, the Claw Crew and other live entertainment teams. Fans will be able to watch their favorite Grizzlies players go head-to-head against each other as they compete in various skills challenges, guided by Head Coach Tuomas Iisalo.

Open Practice is free to the public, and fans are encouraged to RSVP for the event by going to grizzlies.com/open-practice. Fans who choose to arrive early can celebrate the start of a new season with a Plaza Party on the Big River Steel Plaza that tips off at 11 a.m., featuring a live DJ, inflatables, face painting, balloon artists and more. Big River Steel will be unveiling a Grizzlies-themed sculpture to fans at 11:45 a.m. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive an autographed player photo upon entry. Seating is first-come, first-serve. Free parking is available for fans in the Gossett Motors Garage.

In celebration of the Memphis music and arts scene, Open Practice will support several local organizations. The event will feature a performance by Stax Music Academy, with students from Stax Music Academy and Contemporary Arts Memphis participating in player introductions. Grizzlies players will participate in a half-court shot contest, with proceeds benefiting The Soulsville Foundation and Collage Dance.

All fans in attendance at Open Practice will have the chance to unlock a special $9.01 ticket discount for Opening Night, presented by Pinnacle Financial Partners, on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m. CT when the Grizzlies host the New Orleans Pelicans.
