The National Civil Rights Museum is hosting the “Live at the Lorraine” music series as part of its goal to highlight arts and culture and their contributions to the Civil Rights Movement past and present. On April 6, Karen Brown is the featured artist and a local favorite who blends the soulful artistry of her church choir experience with the moving emotions of the great R&B legends and delivers a performance that is uniquely her own. Each concert ticket includes an open bar, light nibbles, and an opening performance in spoken word, comedy or live art by Memphis creatives.
