Marcella Simien is a Louisiana-born, multi-disciplinary artist and ninth-generation Creole whose work explores identity, spirituality, and cultural lineage. Daughter of two-time GRAMMY-winning Zydeco luminary Terrance Simien, she has spent most of her life developing a vibrant, genre-defying musical voice that blends Soul, Experimental American Roots, Blues, Jazz, and Ambient. Her music is both timeless and unmistakably her own.
