Metal Marvels is a two-week summer camp at the Metal Museum for middle and high school students aged 12-18. This camp integrates metal art-making with scientific studies like chemistry, mathematics, physics, and engineering. Metal Marvels demonstrates how STEM subjects can be engaging and enjoyable through creative activities such as forging, casting, and enameling. Students learn valuable metalworking techniques and scientific principles, fostering imaginative thinking and problem-solving. The camp concludes with a celebration at the Metal Museum where students and their families participate in hands-on activities.

Camp is limited to 20 students, and registration is required.

Registration is not a guarantee of acceptance to Metal Marvels. Students will be notified of their acceptance to the summer camp on a rolling basis. Admittance is first come, first served. The last day to register is Friday, April 17th.

Cost:

$400 per student with museum membership

$450 per student without museum membership

Scholarships for the camp are available for families who need financial assistance to make summer camp more accessible. The scholarship application is within this form.
