Join us in celebrating National Travel and Tourism Week to help highlight our industry’s undeniable impact! Travel matters to Memphis, and in honor of this week, Memphis Tourism would like to invite our hospitality and tourism professionals to join us for a Clean Memphis initiative.
Clean Memphis is a nonprofit organization founded in 2008 by a group of concerned citizens, whose goal is to make Memphis cleaner, greener, and more environmentally sustainable. Clean Memphis hosts routine cleanup projects and addresses blighted properties in a variety of neighborhoods.
Our Clean Memphis community engagement day will kick off on May 21 at 9:30 a.m. We ask that our attendees meet us on Beale Street, where we’ll collect trash along the zones of Union to Beale Street, and Main Street to Danny Thomas.
