This annual event kicks off the Christmas season at the “South’s Grand Hotel.”The spirit of the season fills the sounds of Grand Lobby with live jazz classics and Christmas carols, the scent of sweet gingerbread spice and hot chocolate, and warm glow of twinkling lights. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive to light the Peabody Christmas Tree and greet families. Opera Memphis’ Holiday Carolers join the entertainment lineup this year with Victorian carolers singing holiday classics***The Tree Lighting Ceremony is Open to Hotel Guests only***

5pm – arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus and lighting of the Peabody Christmas Tree (immediately after Santa lights the tree)
