Moving Downtown Forward Together

Building on Our Culture and Community to Drive Investment

At the Downtown Memphis Commission, we're focused on building on the culture and community that make Downtown Memphis unique while creating new opportunities for growth and investment.

We invite you to join us for the State of Downtown 2026 on October 26 at 3 PM at the Halloran Centre. We'll take an honest look at where Downtown stands today, share the latest data on development, business activity, and investment, and highlight the progress we've made and the challenges that remain.

Our commitment is to continue attracting new businesses, supporting existing ones, encouraging investment, and creating a Downtown that's clean, vibrant, welcoming, and safe for everyone.

Downtown's future is something we all have a stake in. Join us to learn where we stand, what's ahead, and how we can work together to continue moving Downtown Memphis forward.
