The Memphis Chess Club cordially invites you to taste a wide variety of sweet vermouths with us, in Saunders Hall. Everyon does wine tastings. Do you know which sweet vermouths you like, though? (and it's much easier to distinguish between these than same-varietal wines)

We will explore 8+ different sweet vermouths, their make-up, flavor, history, and talk about common cocktails that contain them. Each tasting will be 1.5-2 ounces. This will include more affordable vermouths like Tribuno and Gallo, mid-range ones like Dolin and Foro; and more complex vermouths like Carpano Antica Formula, Cocchi di Torino, Gonzalez Byass La Copa Rojo, and the American Vya; and even vermouth-adjacent Punt e Mes.

This tasting will be approximately 1.5-2 hours long.

Please note this is a 21-up and only event. Attendees will be ID'd. Physical IDs are required and may be checked more than once. Attendees are strongly encouraged to arrive early to eat dinner beforehand.

RSVP early. Limited seating to the first 16 to sign up.
