Halloween is only days before Election Day, so bring the whole family to the National Civil Rights Museum for a night that’s equal parts fun and purpose. Kids can trick-or-treat on Mulberry Street while adults get ready to vote. Come in costume as a civil rights hero or someone who fought for the right to vote, and share the story behind your look with your kids. Costumes optional.
The evening will feature:
For the kids: Trick-or-treating, children’s games/activities, and candy
For the whole family: Food truck, DJ, and giveaways
For the voters: Partner volunteers to help you confirm your registration status and polling place, plus a walk-through of what to know when you vote
Know your polling place, know your ID requirements, and know your rights.
