The Core TMA is offering a beginner’s bicycling course for adults. Using Explore Bike Share bikes, the course is aimed at teaching adults to ride or allowing adults to practice bicycling skills.
Who is it for?

Course Details:
The Beginner Biking course runs for two hours and is designed for adults 18 and older. Each two-hour lesson allows students to learn the basic skills they need to be comfortable riding a bicycle based on their experience level. The classes are taught using Explore Bike Share bikes, and each student will receive a personal helmet to use and take home after the lesson. Participants can also bring and use their own bikes for the lesson.
Class registration is $20 and includes the 2-hour instructional course and a personal helmet for each student to keep.

The goal of the lesson is to introduce adults to a sustainable mobility choice, allow a safe environment for new riders to experiment with Explore Bike Share, and allow riders to gain confidence with bicycling as a mode for transportation.
The Core TMA is a partnership of businesses and organizations working together to create a better network of transportation, mobility, and parking solutions. The goals of the TMA are to expand public knowledge of mobility options, reduce the number of trips made alone in personal vehicles, and encourage safe and sustainable transportation choices.
