Ambitious, immersive Memphis attraction names new CEO

An immersive experience being created inside a shuttered museum on Mud Island has a new leader.

Baron Von Opperbean and the River Time (BVO) has named its new CEO, Jee Vahn Knight. Current CEO, Reuben Brunson, will be transitioning to chief development officer and chair of BVO's board.

Vahn Knight is a former CEO and founder. Earlier in her career, she was director of marketing at Santa Fe’s Meow Wolf, which BVO is greatly inspired by. She has experience in construction and museum artifact conservation through projects for NASA, the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum, and the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.
