Café Keough space for lease through Table Ready initiative
The Downtown Memphis Commission is advertising the former Café Keough for its Table Ready Initiative, which aims to fill vacant move-in-ready restaurant spaces.
The initiative, launched in the spring of 2025, allows small local food service businesses to test the downtown market with a “pop-up” model for up to one year at $500 per month, with utilities and Wi-Fi included.
The DMC filled the former Tamp & Tap site at 122 Gayoso Ave. with Millington-based Jay’s Coffee & Cuisine in late 2025 through the Table Ready Initiative.
The 4,000-square-foot ground-floor space at 12 S. Main St. was home to Café Keough. It opened in 2013 and closed in 2024.
