Downtown plan aims to spur development, fill vacant parcels
The Downtown Memphis Commission (DMC) held its annual "State of Downtown" event last week.
The event normally focuses on looking back at the prior year, but this year's iteration struck a different tone, with DMC executives focusing on the future.
DMC President and CEO Chandell Ryan and other DMC officials detailed sections of the org's Downtown Action Plan for developers, small business, and livability.
