Easter brunch in Memphis: A guide to some of our favorite spots and what's on the menu

This year, Easter Sunday falls on April 20, and the Memphis area will have myriad dining options to enjoy.

Brunch is already a significant weekly staple on the Memphis dining scene and the holiday will heighten demand for tables, booths, bar seats and coveted patio sections across the city. Consider making reservations or arriving early whenever possible.

Biscuits & Jams

Capriccio Grill

Indulge in a 3-course Easter feast prepared by Chef Bennie White, featuring a delightful array of seasonal dishes and traditional favorites. Whether you're craving succulent Rib Eye, Filet Mignon or any of the restaurant's more traditional dishes, Capriccio Grill is prepared to feed your Easter Sunday cravings. The regular Capriccio Grill menu will also be available.

Majestic Grille

Majestic is situated on picturesque Main Street near Peabody Avenue. The converted movie theater is a popular destination for weekend brunch-goers, and a special Easter menu featuring Crab Deviled Eggs, Salmon Cakes served with grilled asparagus and hollandaise, and a Quiche Lorraine served with mixed greens will be available on Sunday. Don't forget to check out the big screen where Easter cartoons and classic movies will play all day.

Both the regular brunch menu and the Chef's Specials will also be available.

The Peabody

Enjoy Easter at the "South's Grand Hotel" with Easter Brunch on the Mezzanine overlooking the Grand Lobby. The buffet features hundreds of hot and cold items, including made-to-order omelets and waffles, seasonal side dishes, a carving station with prime rib and glazed ham, assorted salads and toppings, chilled seafood, shellfish and sushi and more. The main attraction for sweets lovers may be the elaborate 32-foot-long dessert table covered in bite-sized cakes, pies, house-made ice cream and other sweets from the Peabody Pastry Shop.

Redbirds brunch

Celebrate Easter with the Redbirds with fun for the whole family. The first 500 fans ages 12 and under will receive a Memphis Redbirds Easter basket, perfect to use for the postgame Easter egg hunt on the field. But before the first pitch, enjoy the pregame specialty brunch where kids can enjoy as many pancakes and waffles as they want, while parents can enjoy the bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys. The menu also includes biscuits and country gravy, scrambled eggs with cheese, fried breakfast potatoes with peppers and onions, crispy bacon and sausage, and pit-smoked country ham with a brown sugar glaze.

Sunrise Memphis

This Easter Sunday, Sunrise Memphis is offering everything from Crab Cakes Benedict served on a scratch made biscuit to a Hot Cheetos Breakfast Burrito stuffed with pork belly burnt ends, tater tots, pico, shredded cheese and a cilantro-lime crema, topped with house-made Rotel. Sunrise also is offering an Easter catering menu.
