FSR 2.0: Felicia Suzanne’s reopens
When Felicia Willett-Schuchardt moved into her new space at 383 S. Main St., she considered a name change to mark this new chapter.
Her husband, Clay Schuchardt, talked her out of it. “We went back and forth,” Willett-Schuchardt recalled. “I was the one saying, ‘Change the name. Let’s do something different.’ Clay said, ‘It’s already been branded. It’s been 20 years. You built this.’”
Felicia Suzanne’s reopened on April 15. They tagged it FSR 2.0.
Willett and Schuchardt married in 2019. Back then, Schuchardt had been working in geotechnical and environmental drilling and testing services. He had waited tables in college, so the restaurant atmosphere wasn’t entirely foreign to him. When the pandemic hit, he helped her with grab-and-go items. Willett-Schuchardt eventually convinced him to join her full time.
