Grind City Brewing Co. looks to begin work on stage, renovations
On June 30, Joe Mangialandi of UrbanArch filed a commercial alteration permit with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning for a stage and existing renovations at Grind City Brewing Company in Downtown Memphis.
The permit applications outline plans for a 5,644-square-foot stage and a 3,184-square-foot roof for the existing patio area at the brewery. Additionally, plans are in place for the renovation of a 2,824-square-foot area near the patio and stage areas. The estimated construction cost is $1.7 million, according to the permit application.
In January, Grind City Brewing Co. announced plans for an outdoor music venue called Grind City Amp.
