Grizzlies join Habitat for Humanity for Day of Service

The Memphis Grizzlies announced Friday that the team will join with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis to build homes for first-time homebuyers for their 2025 Day of Service.

The Grizz Take Action Day of Service will be on Friday, September 19, from 7:30 to noon.

"Volunteers will assist in various activities, including window and door installation, sheathing, siding, wrapping, and painting for three different homes," the Grizzlies said in a release. "Homebuyers will receive their keys during a Grizzlies game at FedExForum this season."

The team said fans 16-years-old or older are encouraged to volunteer, but spots open to the public are limited. Sign-ups are available here, and will be divided into two shifts: the first beginning at 7:30 a.m., and the second beginning at 9:45 a.m. Transportation to the job site will be provided from FedExForum; food, coffee, T-shirts, and entertainment will be in supply for volunteers at the site.
