How did Riverbeat perform in year two?
Riverbeat Music Festival officials are optimistic the event is becoming established after recording higher attendance and revenue during its second annual festival.
More people attended the three-day festival, held during the first weekend of May at Tom Lee Park, this year than its first event in 2024, although scanned tickets were flat at 30,000.
Higher attendance was the result of the number of comped tickets, said Jeff Bransford, Riverbeat producer.
Increased attendance spurred higher food and beverage sales, brand partnerships and sponsorships.
“We’re tracking in the direction that we want to be,” Bransford said.
Beer sales were up 60% from last year’s festival.
“We’re in brand-building mode, and we will be for several years, but we’re committed to bringing a better experience each year,” Bransford said.
