Local brewery evolves amid industry challenges
Back in 2024, City Silo owner Scott Tashie was key in bringing the Little Rock-based brewery Flyway Brewing to Memphis.
Tashie said it's been a learning experience. There was the sales side, distribution, and working with bars and restaurants.
"It was an ambitious endeavor that we decided to take on," Tashie said. "Like any new challenge, we have hit it head on. We have fully immersed ourselves in the business, the brands, sales, distribution. It's been really fun and challenging. It's got its ups and downs."
