Mighty Lights shine purple for International Women’s Day!

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Mighty Lights in downtown Memphis glowed purple Monday night in honor of International Women’s Day.

The lights on the Big River Crossing and the Hernando Desoto Bridge lit up at sundown.

International Women’s Day celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

It also signifies the continued call for women’s equality.
