New attraction brings visitors, revenue back to Mud Island

Over its first two months, a new Memphis attraction has seen thousands of visitors, bringing key foot traffic back to Mud Island.

The Baron Von Opperbean and the River of Time (BVO) experience, located in the former Mississippi River Museum, opened on May 1.

It hit the 8,000 visitor mark before mid-July.
