Northside Grill project moves forward
A vacant building on Bellevue Boulevard should soon undergo renovations to become the Northside Grill, a turkey leg restaurant.
The Downtown Memphis Commission Design Review Board approved exterior cosmetic and functional improvements to the 400-square-foot building at 724 N. Bellevue Blvd. Wednesday, June 4.
The building’s owner, Reginald Randolph, received a $25,000 Good Neighbor Grant from the DMC in November 2024 for the $30,600 project.
Randolph said he wants to give the site “a fresh new look.”
The building will include a drive-thru and walk-up window for turkey legs, brisket, pulled pork and more.
Improvements to the building will include adding a drive-thru speaker and food board, painting, fencing, signage and repairs to the windows and lighting.
The exterior renovations will “enable its use as a primarily drive-thru oriented business,” according to the DRB application.
