Renovated Ida B. Wells plaza honors 'essential part of Memphis' story'
City officials cut the ribbon to the newly renovated Ida B. Wells Plaza in Downtown Memphis on July 16, commemorating an activist who Memphis Mayor Paul Young called "an essential part of Memphis' story."
