Ritual opens in former Bluff City Coffee space in Downtown Memphis
For Wade Hartsfield, growing up in Covington, Tennessee, came with a Sunday routine.
That routine turned into a 23-year-long family rite. He and his family — 30 cousins and all — would visit his grandparents on his family's Tipton County farm near Cotton Lake.
"We all have daily rituals in our lives that can mean anything, that means something to us," Hartsfield said. "I wanted to honor that memory with using the name."
That family custom is living on through Hartsfield's new coffee and cocktail business, Ritual located at 505 S. Main St.
