St. Jude-led team awarded $28.5M federal grant to correct genetic mutations

A St. Jude Children's Research Hospital-led team joined forces in a public-private partnership to explore genetic mutations and develop new treatments for pediatric diseases.

The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services agency, awarded a St. Jude-led team a grant of up to $28.5 million to help create an in vivo, or inside the body, therapeutic genome editing platform for pediatric patients with bone marrow failure disorders.
