Westy’s marks 20 years of serving free Thanksgiving meals in Downtown Memphis
Thanksgiving is a day many families gather to carve turkey, share dessert and enjoy time together. But for two decades, it has also been a day when a historic Downtown Memphis bar and restaurant opens its doors to anyone in need of a hot meal.
Westy’s owner, Jake Schorr, told ABC24 that the tradition continues as long as the need remains.
