MBJ names HR Impact Awards finalists

We're only human, and that can get in the way of best business practices.

Having an exceptional human resources department is crucial to a company's health. They deal with everything from onboarding and performance development to work environment and termination. The serious stuff.

This is why MBJ started its HR Impact Awards in 2018, an offshoot of the annual Best Places to Work awards.

These finalists from nonprofit/government and private and public companies have shaped their organizations' cultures and have made them meaningful places to work.

HR Impact nominations were submitted by the public, and an editorial panel chose the finalists and will determine the winners.

The HR Impact finalists will be profiled and winners named along with the Best Places to Work honorees at an in-person event Tuesday, Sept. 9, 4–6:30 p.m. at the Overton Park Shell. They will also all be profiled in MBJ's Sept. 26 weekly edition.

The Best Places to Work honorees were recently announced. Now the HR Impact Awards finalists can be revealed.
