Good Neighbor Grant
The Good Neighbor Grant is a special program offered by the Downtown Memphis Commission (DMC) and the Center City Development Corporation (CCDC) in partnership with the City of Memphis Division of Housing and Community Development (HCD), the Memphis Medical District Collaborative (MMDC), and the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA).
This grant is designed to help commercial property owners and businesses in the South City, Madison Heights, Uptown, and Peabody-Vance Neighborhoods make exterior improvements to their property.
Quick Facts:
- For each project the maximum total grant is $25,000.
- The grant covers up to 90% of a project’s total costs.
- Projects located in South City, Madison Heights, Uptown, and Peabody-Vance are eligible (see map).
- The grant is for exterior improvements easily seen from the street or public sidewalk.
