Clean, Green & Safety Programs

The Downtown Memphis Commission strives to make Downtown Memphis a more inviting place to live, work, and enjoy by enhancing the cleanliness, attractiveness, friendliness, and sense of security. To do this our staff:

Aggressively addresses blight and neglect
Oversees daily clean-up and beautification crews
Manages and maintains Main Street Mall and Court Square
Employs the Blue Suede Brigade, our on-street safety and hospitality team
